FAQ's > How do I choose a domain name?

Think about all the contexts in which you will use it. Chances are you are going to be telling people over the phone or in presentations, so you want to choose one that is easy to hear and spell.

Try to get a .com domain if possible, as it is the most expected domain extension for businesses. Also try to avoid names with dashes in them, or numbers. If you have a number, you may end up having to tell people either to spell it out or not spell it out quite often.

Above all, its best to choose one that is memorable and not confusing. In general, shorter names are easier to remember, but given that many domain names are taken a longer one might work just as well.
